about our atlanta shop

Customers who place orders for local pickup via convenient email or over the telephone come to the Atlanta shop to pick up those orders.

We also have ravioli and cut pasta available in the shop for customers who have not placed an order. Walk-in customers can also enjoy gnocchi on Thursdays and cannelloni on Saturdays. For these and other items and to guarantee your selection will be available, orders can be placed in advance. Your orders will always be made to order. We do this to provide the freshest pasta available in Atlanta and to ensure our customers enjoy pasta the way it is meant to be eaten: fresh. You can use our email order form or contact us via phone or fax.

In our Atlanta storefront, we carry many specialty foods and we pride ourselves on our large selection of artisan cheeses from Italy. Come to our store and delight in the selections of prosciutto, cacciatorini, sopressate, mortadella and pancetta. Our mozzarella di bufula is imported fresh from Italy and our olives, balsamic vinegars, imported tuna in olive oil, canned DOP San Marzano tomatoes and imported jams will fire your imagination. We also carry outstanding olive oils that are made by Italy’s smaller producers. We invite you to come and explore.

Three Cheese Ravioli

We combine our whole milk ricotta with Parmigiano Reggiano and Asiago to create an ideal companion for hearty tomato sauces, meats and vegetables. Molten pockets of nutty-sweet Asiago dot the smooth, fluffy ricotta filling.

Ricotta with Lemon Zest Ravioli

A touch of lemon zest adds citrus zing to our ravioli filled with whole milk ricotta and Parmigiano Reggiano. Subtle yet bright, the lemon essence lends a lightness to these rich and velvety little pillows that pair perfectly with seafood and chicken.

Whole Milk Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli

The most classic of Italian pairings, these spinach and ricotta ravioli are ideal for heartier fall dining. Filled with our snowy whole milk ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano and tender leaves of spinach, they are at once robust and light. Traditional smooth tomato sauces and meatballs marry wonderfully with these ravioli.

Porcini Mushroom Ravioli

Stuffed with woodsy porcini and a light touch of mascarpone for melting creaminess, these ravioli are rich and deeply savory. Ricotta with Sweet Peas and Shallots

Garden peas sautéed in butter with a sprinkling of shallots are combined with Parmigiano Reggiano and our whole milk ricotta to create this creamy, delicate favorite and brings spring dining into full swing.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes

We roast sweet potatoes until they're beautifully caramelized and combine them with amaretti* crumbs and a touch of Parmigiano Reggiano for these custard-smooth tortelloni. Kids and those who wish to restrict their consumption of dairy products love this stuffed pasta. *Amaretti contain nuts.

TortelloniRicotta with Roasted Leeks

These tortelloni are filled with our downy whole milk ricotta, a touch of Parmigiano Reggiano and deeply caramelized leeks.

Ricotta with Asparagus

Filled with whole milk ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano and nutty, fruity asparagus spears sautéed in butter, our popular Asparagus Tortelloni are delicious and beautiful.

Porcini

A city-wide favorite, our porcini mushroom tortelloni are earthy and robust. These tortelloni do not contain ricotta; rather, we combine a classic saute of garlic, shallots, button mushrooms and porcini with bechamel. Once cooked, the bechamel melts into a heavenly, creamy sauce inside the tortelloni.

Tortelloni With Ricotta, Asiago and Spek

The bits of imported Italian Asiago fresco we add to our whole milk ricotta melt once the tortelloni are cooked, creating heavenly little pockets of sweet melted cheese. Spek, a smoked ham from the Tyrolean region of Italy , is similar in flavor to prosciutto and lends a wonderful hint of smokiness.

Tortelloni With Ricotta, Goat Cheese and Pancetta

A Sardinian goat cheese called Pantaleo adds a peppery, nutty flavor to these tortelloni, and pancetta provides a wonderful salty bite in contrast to our ricotta's sweet creaminess.

Three Cheese

We combine our whole milk ricotta with Parmigiano Reggiano and Asiago to create an ideal companion for hearty tomato sauces, meats and vegetables. Molten pockets of nutty-sweet Asiago dot the smooth, fluffy ricotta filling.

Spinach and Whole Milk Ricotta

Even though they're fluffy as clouds, our spinach gnocchi are satisfying and easy to cook. Prepared with smooth sheeps milk ricotta, top-grade Parmigiano Reggiano, eggs and tender spinach, these are delicious simply served with Via Elisa Fresh Pasta's Passionately Perfect Tomato Sauce.

Sweet Potato Gnocchi

Our sweet potato gnocchi are made from roasted sweet potato and Parmigiano Reggiano. The nutty flavor of the cheese and the sweetness of the potato are enhanced when browned butter and sage are drizzled lightly over them.
$8 per pound, serves 3-4.

Ready to bake with sauce and cheese, $17 per pound, serves 3-4.

 

We fill and roll our fresh pasta squares with your choice of filling, then top them with creamy tomato sauce and Parmigiano Reggiano. Our cannelloni are completely prepared in a reusable metal baking dish for you to bake and enjoy at home. Simply bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until the filling is creamy and bubbly. This easy preparation makes them a wonderful choice for holiday gatherings or dinner parties.

Tonnarelli

These bold, square spaghetti are ideal for a wide range of sauces. Whether you serve them with Via Elisa Fresh Pasta's Passionately Perfect Tomato Sauce, our imported fresh basil pesto, a lemon cream sauce or a hearty seafood sauce, our tonnarelli are always a favorite.

Tagliolini

Commonly called "angel hair", this is our most delicate cut pasta. Don't let their skinniness fool you, though, they're rich with the flavor of our free-range eggs. These are best when served with delicate sauces.

Fettuccine

This popular cut pasta is excellent with almost all of your favorite sauces. Toss them with sauteed vegetables and a bit of olive oil for a light, easy and healthful meal.

Tagliatelle

Just a notch wider than fettuccine, our tagliatelle have the body to stand up to a classic Bolognese or a rich cream sauce. They're also beautiful tossed with a mixed mushroom saute.

La Diavoletta

This "little devil" will fire the desire to book your next vacation to Italy. Sofia’s Sicilian Caper

CAPERS! My daughter Sofia is crazy about them and she is the inspiration for this sauce that reminds me of childhood summers in Sicily with my cousins. Luscious imported Italian plum tomatoes, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, peppers and extra virgin olive oil combine to create a dramatic flavor steeped in the traditions of Italy's most intriguing island. Heat to simmer and serve over any Via Elisa fresh pasta. For a special Sicilian treat, after tossing the pasta with sauce, sprinkle grated ricotta salata on top. 16 ounces - $6.00

Locally-made Fresh Pesto Sauce

I love fresh pesto...especially fresh pesto made here in Atlanta with the same care and attention to detail that we put into our pasta. It is called Hope’s Gardens Pesto and we carry it in 4 ounce jars. Made from fresh basil grown locally, extra virgin olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano, pine nuts and garlic this is pesto at its best and most delicious. 4 ounces - $6.00

Deeply perfumed with fresh sage, our sage butter is ready for browning at home to drizzle over our fresh pasta.

We combine good quality butter with black truffle oil and pieces of black truffle to make this butter that pairs perfectly with our porcini mushroom ravioli or tortelloni.

Melt this delicately flavored garlic butter on our cut pasta or any of our cheese ravioli. It is also wonderful drizzled on grilled steak or baked potatoes. This butter is also a perfect beginning for garlic bread.
